PayWeb360 1.18 is now available in production. The purpose of this release is to introduce 4 new features (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Surcharge, Refund History), make 3 enhancements (2-Factor Authentication, Payment History, Payment Receipts)and fix 1 issue (2-Factor Authentication).
Digital Wallets
Digital Wallets is a new feature that enables users to pay with a card stored with their iPhone (Apple Pay), Android, or Google account (Google Pay) without having to re-enter their card information.
How it works
1. Select a Digital Wallet
2. Specify an amount and date
3.Review payment
4. Select card and pay
Pilot Program
PaymentVision will initially offer Apple Pay and Google Pay as part of a small pilot program. After the successful completion of the pilot program, we plan to make the two services available to all clients.
Surcharge
Surcharge is a new feature that enables clients to assess a percentage-based fee on credit card payments.
Payment History
Payment History is an existing screen that presents both upcoming and previously processed payments.
Card Refunds
Payment History will now include card refunds as part of this release.
Upcoming Payments
Prior to this release, users could only view the next upcoming payment for each account. Now, as part of this release, users can view all upcoming payments and, in the case of a payment plan, they are grouped.
2-Factor Authentication
2-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an existing feature that when enabled, requires a user to login with something they have (code) in addition to something they know(password).
Resend Code
Users will now have the ability to resend a 2FA code when logging into PW360.
Onboarding
Prior to this release, an issue caused customers to receive a blank screen after onboarding in cases where either the ZIP, email address, or home phone number was invalid within client reference data (a.k.a. CIF). Now, as part of this release, customers will receive a call-to-action to update their contact information in cases where client reference data is invalid
Payment Receipts
In our last release, we added the ability to hide the itemized schedule when viewing or setting up a recurring payment. In this release, we are adding the ability to do so on the downloadable PDF receipt.
